The app provides functionalities such as an app launcher, caller ID screen for VoIP apps (specifically for the Z Flip series at present), support for third-party app widgets on the homescreen, quick toggles, navigation gestures, a powerful media screen with advanced controls, notification handling with reply options, keyboard support, and more.

A notable feature of CoverScreen OS is the unique navigation system that allows users to seamlessly access both the CoverScreen OS and the OEM's stock OS.
